Leadership

I(Shajet C Thomas) was born and brought up in a Roman Catholic family at North Kerala, Kannur. Our worship and prayer mainly focused upon mother Mary and other Saints led  us to destruction. In 1997, I left my hometown and reached Cochin in search of a job which led me through different stages of life from hotel waiter to a business man.Meanwhile, I met with an accident on Dec.25th1998 and admitted in the hospital for 3 months. During this time one of the christian believer shared the gospel which led me to Born again experience. I confessed my sins to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and saviour. Next day morning I found complete healing in my body, Hallelujah !
Since then, my life was connected to God and started reading the Bible. I took water baptism on 3rd October 1999. I read a book, 'Evangelism by fire by Reinhard Bonke' which inspired me to get more close and touch with God.

During this time, I took 21 days of fasting for my business.  But Jesus  appeared in my room and I heard Him saying " I AM ALIVE"and gave a vision, millions of people walking towards the fire of hell and the Lord said, unless I preach the gospel to them I will be responsible for their destruction. Then I committed my life for the Lord's ministry. On 4th January 2000, God filled me with Holy Spirit Baptism which led me to total transformation and I became hungry for the Word of God and His presence. I could associate my pastor for 3 years and later joined in the bible college for further training.

After my studies, the Lord led me to Angamaly town and joined with Rev. K.C. Thomas who also was my teacher at the bible college to carry the vision all over India and around the world. Now I am serving the Lord as a Pastor at our main church and also as Vice President of CFIM.

My wife Nini Shajet from Arunachal Pradesh( North- East) too dedicated to Lord's ministry serving the Lord along with me at Angamly Hindi  church where Pastor John Degio is also the pastor.We have a son Josha Shalom Shajet.
